The Road That Keeps Turning

From the top of the mountain, the road doesn’t look rushed, it looks intentional. FM 700 curves gently through the land, never stopping, never asking permission, just faithfully going where it was laid to go. Cars pass quickly, unaware of the bigger picture, focused only on the few feet of pavement ahead. But from above, you can see it clearly: every bend has purpose, every stretch is leading somewhere.

Life often feels like driving that road. We move fast, heads down, just trying to get through no pause, no clear view, sometimes no place to stop. Walking isn’t recommended here, neither is trying to figure everything out while you’re in the middle of it. Faith invites us higher. When God lifts us to a new perspective, we begin to see that the turns weren’t mistakes, the delays weren’t wasted, and the long stretches weren’t abandonment, they were formation.

The greenery surrounding the road tells another story: even in places that feel remote, overlooked, or ordinary, life is quietly thriving. God brings growth where we least expect it. What feels like “just a road” to some is a testimony to others a reminder that the path you’re on, though busy and uncertain, is still held, still guided, still leading forward.

This photo speaks to the heart that feels tired of the journey: "Keep going. The road curves, but it does not end. The God who sees from above has never lost sight of you."

Beyond the Leaves

Beyond the Leaves

Hidden beneath wide, weathered leaves, a small fruit quietly grew.

Most people passed by without noticing, only seeing the rough edges and worn surface.

The leaves were torn and dusty, shaped by wind and time, so they assumed nothing valuable was underneath.

But beneath it all, the fruit kept growing, slow, steady, and unseen.

It absorbed the hidden light, drawing strength from deep roots no one could see.

One day, someone looked closer. Past the leaves, they saw it, bold, golden green, alive with beauty and purpose.

It had always been there: growing, becoming, worth noticing.

“… For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”

1 Samuel 16:7

People may judge the surface, but true beauty and purpose are formed beneath it.

Those who look with patience and discernment often find what others miss,

what God has been quietly growing all along.
